Mixed Media & Oil on Canvas
24 × 18 inches
All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name transforms the familiar beauty of a flower into something luminous and contemplative. Layers of expressive color, handwritten marks, vintage text, and fragments of the traditional hymn emerge through the painting, inviting a closer look.
The flower seems to gather and hold light—its golden center surrounded by cool violets, turquoise, and deep greens. Words and music appear and disappear beneath the painted surface, becoming part of the history of the piece rather than simply an added element.
At once joyful and reflective, the painting explores the meeting place between the beauty of the natural world and the sacred.
