Prayer of St. Nicholas offers a quiet, contemplative portrait of the beloved bishop and saint. With eyes lowered in prayer, St. Nicholas is surrounded by the rich reds, deep blues, evergreen, and gold traditionally associated with his story and feast day.
Layers of mixed media, expressive brushwork, fragments of text, and touches of gold bring a contemporary quality to the sacred imagery while honoring the tradition from which it comes.
Created as part of the Holiday Sacred Art Collection, this intimate original reflects the deeper story of St. Nicholas—a life marked by faith, generosity, and love for others.
